Mindfulness is the process of bringing our attention to thoughts,feelings and sensations occurring in the present moment through the practice of meditation. When the mind is operating from a constant state of overdrive, it can put excessive pressure on  mental and physical health, leading to an over-reliance on stimulants like caffeine, sugar, alcohol and junk foods to constantly boost energy levels.  Mindfulness offers a whole range of benefits for the mind and body,which are rooted in our  ability to find  stillness and reflection within our lives.
