Aromatherapy

Due to Covid 19 I am not currently offering massage therapies, but I hope to return to massage during 2021. I am able to offer advice with regard to supporting individual self care needs with Aromatherapy. 

Aromatherapy is a deeply therapeutic treatment using specific plant extracts, known as essential oils, to promote physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.  Essential oils are powerful extracts from flowers, herbs, spices, grasses, resins or bark which stimulate our olfactory senses and can positively affect the way we respond to stress and illness.  Essential oils can facilitate a feeling of  deep relaxation, whilst balancing emotions and bringing feelings of calm during times of  stress and creating a sense of energy and uplift when we are feeling low.

Essential oils  can be applied in a variety of ways apart from massage including ointments, lotions, baths and inhalations. They can also be used in a burner or diffuser at home to motivate, uplift or calm. Combining the benefits of essential oils with those of therapeutic massage offers a wonderful opportunity to relax, unwind and de-stress.

What happens in a treatment?

I offer both online and in-person support.

Online Support – A consultation via Zoom, allows me time to focus on your individual physical and emotional needs understand your needs. I will create  a personalised essential oil blend for these specific issues and conditions. Each Bespoke Aroma product is hand blended using pure natural ingredients, carefully chosen for their skin nurturing benefits. Aromatherapy blends are not only effective for your skin, but also help to uplift, calm or soothe muscle aches.We will discuss various ways for you to use this blend from self care massage, bath oil, aromaball or balm.

In-person Support – A full consultation will be taken at your first appointment, this will enable me to to choose the best essential oils for you.  The blend will be added to nourishing organic base oils, most appropriate for your skin and other symptoms presenting, then applied via a highly individualised massage treatment.
