What To Expect During A Reflexology Treatment
During the first visit, I will ask about your health, lifestyle, and medical history. A typical Reflexology session will last 60 minutes and I will ask you to lie down on a comfortable electronic treatment couch supported with pillows and blankets. Reflexology is a very safe treatment which is extremely relaxing, calming and soothing.
The treatments are bespoke and tailored to your individual needs which means that a course of treatments may be recommended , although enormous benefits can be gained from just having an individual Reflexology treatment.
I am very experienced in supporting people with a cancer diagnosis as whilst being a retired qualified nurse I am also employed as a Treatment Support Reflexologist by the charity Penny Brohn Uk. I find this to be an extremely rewarding role where I can offer nurturing support and care during what can be a very vulnerable time.
Are there any reasons I shouldn’t try Reflexology?
It is important to initially talk to your Reflexologist about any additional health concerns which you may have. However Reflexology is a very safe treatment and there are few contraindications to having a treatment session.
